Every surf park starts with a dream: perfect waves, in places the ocean never reached, for people who never thought they’d catch one. Then comes the hard part. Permits, regulations, insurance, staffing, guest safety, and a hundred details nobody mentions when you’re sketching out the lagoon. That’s where we paddle in.

Nothing is 100% wipeout-proof, but together we can get close. Surf Safe partners with surf parks to find hidden risks, strengthen safety practices, and keep guests stoked and coming back for more.
Meet Michael Floissac
For 20 years, Michael has helped organizations spot hidden legal and regulatory risks. On the water, he wasn’t quite as sharp. A “Beginner Plus” surfer with advanced-level confidence, he racked up wave pool injuries until one wipeout landed him in emergency spinal surgery. Recovery gave him a new mission. Surf Safe LLC pairs his compliance expertise with hard-earned firsthand experience to help surf parks find and fix risks before their guests find them the hard way. The goal is to grow the sport safely and keep people coming back for more waves, not more X-rays.
